Imagine you are doing a podcast based on your blog. Write an episode about three minutes long.(You’ll have to time yourself to come to the three-minute estimate. I read at about 150 words per minute but your mileage may vary.) Pick an aspect of what you write about in your blog and use conversational, broadcast-style writing to engage the listener. As an example, Carl Hausman blogs about communication issues and has a podcast specifically devoted to vocabulary. You can see all the scripts (in podcasting, they are called “show notes”) on Carl Hausman’s website under the “Podcast” heading.
For the video script, write a VOSOT based on the story provided, as specified in Exercise 5 on Page 226 of the Rich text. Note that Exercise 5 refers to the story originally presented in Exercise 4 on the previous page.
