I – Introduction: Social Problem and Policy Identification

Analyze the impact of the policy on individuals, families, communities, and society as a whole. Consider the:

- the effectiveness of the policy in achieving its goals, and
- the barriers and challenges faced by individuals and communities in accessing the benefits of the policy.
Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the policy. Consider the:
- ethical, social, and political implications of the policy, and
- evaluate its compatibility with social work values and principles.
III – Role of Social Worker in Policy Change
Discuss the role of social workers in advocating for policy change or development and suggest strategies for improving the policy to better serve the needs of the population it targets.
Write a 6-10 page policy analysis paper that incorporates the above information, as well as additional research and analysis to support your argument. Your paper should be written in APA format, and should include a title page, an abstract, an introduction, a literature review, a policy analysis section, a conclusion, and a reference page.
