Then come back and respond to the following prompts to share in the conversation with each other about these tools.
Tools for Helpers: Meditation & Labyrinths & Journal 2 – Spirituality in Practice
PLEASE DO THEM SEPARATE
1. Talk briefly about your experience with meditation and/or labyrinths that you have had (in the past or as part of this class exercise).
2. How might these tools be useful with clients struggling with decision making?
3. What barriers/concerns might come up when using these tools with clients? How might we overcome these barriers?
For this second set of journals I want you to reflect back over our classes since Spring Break. In classes for Weeks 11 -15 what things stood out for you. What did you learn about yourself, helping, finding a balance between spirituality and practice. Let the following questions guide your journal entries.
1. Discuss the takeaways from Chapters 7-10 that resonated most with you. Minimum of 4; more for full credit.
2. Of those takeaways you wrote about in #1, which ones do you think will be difficult to implement in practice? And how will you go about working on at least one of these moving forward?
