I need replay to some student discussion, Below the Discussion I have to replay
When the Covid-19 pandemic first hit, there were a number of challenges that our community faced. Not only was there a drastic increase in illness and death, but there were also economic impacts that made it difficult for many to access much needed health care and other essential services. As an advocate for health care within my community, I knew that it was imperative to take action in order to improve the situation.
One of the primary ways I sought to influence health care during the pandemic was through advocacy and policy making. Working with local government officials, I helped with policies surrounding social distancing, mask wearing, testing, and contact tracing. By having these measures in place, we were able to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 and keep people safe while still allowing them access to necessary medical services.
I also worked with local organizations to ensure that people had access to necessary health care services. I was part of a task force that helped organize free testing clinics and assisted individuals in finding care and assistance. Additionally I worked with food banks to those affected by the pandemic get access to healthy food. Through advocacy, I was able to ensure that our community had access to the resources they needed during this difficult time.
Overall, I am proud of the work I have done to help influence health care during this pandemic. By working together with government officials, organizations and individuals, we have been able to make significant progress in both protecting public health and ensuring access to necessary care for everyone in our community.
Finally, I engaged my community members in conversations about the importance of continued preventative care even during a pandemic. This included increasing awareness about staying up-to-date on vaccinations and other aspects of preventive care like routine checkups and screenings for chronic conditions despite fear or uncertainty about going out into public or seeking medical attention from strangers. Through connecting with my community members directly via email campaigns or social media posts, I was able to reach more people than traditional methods such as print media advertising or radio spots alone would have allowed me too.
By taking a multi-pronged approach towards influencing health care during this time of crisis, I am proud that we have been successful at helping our community remain healthy throughout the Covid-19 pandemic so far. With more advocacy efforts in place moving forward, we can continue helping keep our communities healthy while also working towards improving access overall so healthcare remains equitable for all regardless of circumstances outside their control such as personal income level or geographic location (Kamal et al., 2021).
