GOALS FOR THE ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY• Locate four scholarly sources (in addition to your book) that are relevant to the topic with no more than two of those sources being scholarly websites) • Express at least a working version of your thesis statement (just under the title)• Arrange sources in alphabetical order by first word of the citation• Write a minimum of 150 words per source not including the citation (Keep in mind that yourgoal is to adequately summarize, analyze, and evaluate each source, not just to meet theminimum-word requirement, so you may need to write significantly more.)• Follow MLA guidelines (header, centered title, double spaced, etc.)• Include correct citations for each source (including hanging indent–first line is not indentedbut all other lines in the citation are)• Do not include any direct quotes• Use academic style and proofread for grammatical/mechanical errors (Limit use of 1st personto descriptions of how you plan to use each source.)
