1. Discuss your group’s effectiveness in creating an intervention/advocacy plan with your
identified target population. How will your group’s efforts benefit/enhance the well-
being of the individuals in the target population and the community/environment in
which they reside?
2. How has your group monitored, adjusted, and evaluated throughout this project? Give
examples.
3. Discuss how your literature review/research and community contacts laid a foundation
for your intervention/advocacy and what these activities did for your group’s
cohesiveness.
4. Evaluate your Power Point and group presentation. What are the strengths of the
presentation? What might be the challenges? How do you feel it will be received by
reviewers?
5. Discuss how your group handled transitions and endings. How did you end the group?
What kinds of follow up did your group do related to the community contacts that were
made?
6. How did you demonstrate professionalism in behavior, appearance, and communication
throughout this process? Think about interactions with group members, the target
population, the controlling system, the community/environment and your final Power
Point presentation.
7. Discuss how your completed group project fits macro practice in social work.
Specifically address how your efforts could benefit/enhance the community as a whole
and possibly be duplicated in other communities.
