Pick a content area and find one during-reading strategy and one during-writing strategy to have students prepare for reading and writing a reaction to a text. Create a document or ppt to explain the one reading strategy and one writing strategy in the content area strategies for elementary, middle, or high school. Make sure they are well-researched strategies that are used in schools.
• Write a document or ppt that gives the key information about each strategy.
INCLUDE:
• Explain how each strategy is applied in the selected content area.
• Explain what skills each strategy supports.
• Explain if how each strategy is effective.
• Have you used either strategy or seen with either of them used?
• What is the research on each strategy?
• Create a modified version/a differentiated version for each of the strategies for use with students with disabilities. DO NOT USE simple differentiation like extra space or extra time. Think about how you can really differentiate each strategy to support students.
