The is based off the literature review and annotated bib. attached below
1. Introduction
-Introduce what my research is about, how did I conduct it and collected my data (I used a survey along with reserch from other studies).
2. Method ( I used a Survey for my research study) **Also compare ith with the research from the other case studies from the literature review in the attachment**
3. Finding from the research/survey. (findings are listed below paragraph for each or one good paragraph for all)
-Execptation = I was execpting alot of response that favored my research that college students do partake in a lot of caffeinated beverages that affect their sleep but I got different responses than that. >>>** I found that the responses for question 7 on the survey aren’t the answer I was expecting. A lot of people answered that they do not drink coffee or caffineinated/energy beverages at all or only 1 or 2 times a week. I wasn’t expecting that answer because I see alot of my classmates and fellow peers drinking thoses things alot through out the week on campus. ** Another thing I found that I wasn’t expecting is that stress was the main cause of sleeping problems than their eating or drinking habits.)
– caffeinate beverages/snacking
-sleep
4. Discussion/Conclusion
-What was found?
-The limitations= only 23 people did the survey and majority of them were sophomores
-Bias= These are two biasis I found
**Recall bias: Affects studies that rely on memory and self-reporting. Refers to differences in the accuracy with which participants recall past experiences. This type of bias can be amplified by flaws in study design (questions which lead respondents to classify past experiences differently) or by differences in respondents’ motivation to remember past experiences. Interacts with other cognitive biases.
**Social desirability bias: Applies particularly to surveys, but can affect any study that relies on self-reporting of behavior not confirmed by objective measures. Refers to respondents’ tendency to under-report socially undesirable behaviors (i.e., smoking) and over-report socially desirable behaviors (i.e., recycling).
Survey was done on google doc.
