- Explain in detail why you have chosen these two Topics in terms of what you understand as their key issues or main concepts. You need to refer to four readings altogether:
- One requisite resource from each Topic. These are your main resources and must be the focus of your Essay
- One supporting resource from each Topic. These only play a supporting role. They do not replace the requisite resources in terms on your focus on the Essay.
- Reflect on personal events in your life and/or specific situations that you experience in your own contexts that resonate with these two Topics. You may choose two different events/situations for two Topics, i.e. event/situation A for Topic X, and event/situation C for Topic Y. Or you may choose one event/situation for two Topics, i.e. event/situation A for Topics X and Y.
- Connect the key issues or main concepts of these two Topics with personal events in your life and/or specific situations that you experience in your own contexts. Ensure that all resources are properly referenced. Nevertheless, you do not need to connect the Two Topics. In other words, explain these personal events and/or specific situations using the key issues or main concepts. You may choose to write just about something/someone around you in the society you in which you find yourself, or both.
- Evaluate and reflect on these connections. How do you feel about these connections? What memories do they prompt? What do these connections mean to you?
