I am required to complete a narrative review.
– The topic of this review is ‘Identifying non-pharmaceutical methods for reducing acute post-operative pain following spine surgery’.
– The non-pharmaceutical methods that will be discussed include; Cryotherapy (ice packs), TENS machines, Manual therapy, Compression bands and Acupuncture. For all of these methods please reference scientific articles, that specifically mention the use of there non-pharmaceutical options post spinal surgery.
– The review should follow this structure: Abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion (cryotherapy, TENS, manual therapy, compression band and acupuncture) conclusion and reference.
