You are going to create the outline of the research report:
Use the templates provided. WK 4 Outline of the Research Paper-PGT_Revised 2_24_23.docx
Creating the outline of your research report on you pursuing a personal SMART goal. Check the following options and choose the outline template that meets your choice. Also refer to week three “S.M.A.R.T Goals Handout” for information about S.M.A.R.T goals.
II. Personal Goal Track: Choose this option if you already have a career and you are taking this course for personal satisfaction and achievement. Note that the acronym S.M.A.R.T stands for the following: S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-Achievable, R-Relevant, and T-Timely. Your personal goal should meet the S.M.A.R.T criteria.
Introduction: In the introduction, you are going to introduce your personal S.M.A.R.T goal. For example, talk about your ultimate personal plan such as getting a promotion and becoming a consultant in your workplace. Check your academic plan and reflect on the skills you have already acquired and the skills that you need to acquire to reach your personal goal. Also, try to identify and incorporate the resources available to you to help you reach your personal goal.
(Check the outline templates, which include questions to prompt you to generate your thesis and the main points for support).
