You will read one article from a professional journal on teaching reading (decoding or comprehension) to students with disabilities. Please choose an article that will be useful in your work with students, both for the level of the students and the needs of the students. The article must be at least five-pages in length and must have been published within the last five years in a referred journal. Please attach a copy of the article and submit it.
Your paper will be graded according to the quality of your writing and of the following: 1) your choice of journal and article; 2) how succinctly you summarize the article; 3) how you judge the validity and reliability of the article; 4) most importantly how you will use this information in your reading instruction either now or in the future.
