6-7 page Essay explaining the causes of the American Revolution, beginning with the
Proclamation of 1763 through the Declaration of Independence. Chicago-style format with documentation. The title page and resources do not count for pages. I need a clear well developed thesis statement.
Sources for the paper must be scholarly such as books by historians, peer-reviewed journals or scholarly websites (i.e., those ending in .gov, .edu, or .mil). No more than half of the references can be from the Internet. DO NOT USE Wikipedia as a reference. You should use at least 3-5 sources (only two may be from a webpage) in addition to your text. (The rubric specifies at least 6 scholarly sources for full credit.)
