Look at Gogol’s definition of “home”. What does home mean for him? How does Gogol’s definition of “home” change throughout the novel?
Write an essay in which you use (borrow) information and details from the novel, The Namesake, to analyze how Gogol’s definition of home changes from his childhood to his teenage and college years to his adulthood.

● Discussion of where Gogol lives/stays/visits in his childhood, teenage years, college years and adulthood
● Gogol’s thoughts and feelings about each place in his childhood, teenage years, college years and adulthood
● Information and quotations from the novel (The Namesake) to support and illustrate Gogol’s thoughts, feelings, and definitions of “home” in these various stages/places
● Analysis – your words (transitions and connections) explaining these quotes and examples from the novel

MLA Paper Formatting Basics / Length of paper:

● Double space the entire paper, even the Works Cited page.
