Create a deliverable for the families of students with moderate to severe disabilities that . This deliverable could be a digital classroom newsletter, a brochure, a section of your classroom website, or any other method of communication using technology to relay information to families.
Use a combination of federal and state level support for students and families to develop the deliverable:
- Describe the purpose and benefits for students and families to become familiar with the multiple types of formal and informal assessments used to make educational decisions and the reporting process.
- Describe one progress monitoring tool and how it can support the planning of specialized instruction.
- Explain how using progress monitoring tools that support the ABCD+T method and prevent or minimize bias when assessing students’ progress.
- Include at least three resources for families that would provide additional information on progress monitoring and data collection tools. Describe the type of communication that will occur between families and teachers to relay the information obtained from these tools. The selected resources should provide families specific details on what the resource offers and how to access it electronically.
The deliverable should contain a title and visuals/graphics to support the overall content and delivery of information.
