Franklin, TN – Haunted or Not?

My purpose in the Storymaps document is to convince the audience that the small town in Franklin, Tennessee is

 haunted. It is allegedly known for its haunting sightings all around downtown Franklin from mansions, battlefields and 

many stores. Over the years of field trips, friends’ stories and my own personal experiences, I want my Storymap to show these locations where you can travel the shadows of the haunted.

I plan to share my personal experiences while eating at Mellow Mushroom with my family. This restaurant is located 

directly next to the courthouse on the public square. It was once the headquarters for union soldiers. I will include my 

friend Kevin’s house in Franklin where a child had past, and her spirit still lives upstairs. I have spent the night there and witnessed cries of a girl and lots of banging. 

My progress in story maps is coming along as I registered last week, I printed out step by step instructions and played 

around in different areas of formatting. I plan to use a map of Franklin, TN incorporating the different areas of haunted 

places. I may include prices and icons to differentiate from graveyards to buildings. I will also try and include a walking 

path throughout the town.
