Requirements:

1. Start by choosing a topic.Your topic can be about any new advances in computer (or computerized) technology in a the area of your major, for example medicine, law enforcement, graphic design, etc. or: How a specific technology changed your field. If you don’t have a major: consult with the instructor.
2. Length: 11 to 15 Slides (no more no less. try not to get away with the minimum 11)
3. Must include a title slide (slide 1) with: title/topic of presentation, your name, course name, section and month and year
4. Must include an “Introduction” slide , introducing the topic (slide 2)
5. Apply a theme, but you must pick a color scheme OTHER than its default one.
6. In the entire presentation: unity and consistency of fonts, colors, text size. example: all paragraph text on all slides uses the same font/color/style, all the headings have their consistent style, bullet lists, etc.
7. Apply a transition to each slide. Can be a different transition for each one, or the same for all. Animations inside slides are optional
8. Graphics – must have at least 5 pictures, clip art, etc., somewhere in the presentation. they can come from any source (yours, online pictures). Graphics must be crisp and clear (not low quality/stretched)
9. At least 2 of the graphics must use some formatting (not “as is”). example: cropping to shape, a frame style, border etc.
10. Smart Art –at least 2 smart arts, they must serve as a way to show/demonstrate information, like a process, progress, relationship etc.
11. At least one Chart, with data, (not a picture of a chart! an actual chart inserted in PowerPoint, with data you enter with Excel’s help, and a style that matches the rest of the presentation, see vid tutorial on this module)
12. At least one table, (not a picture of a table! an actual table inserted in PowerPoint, with data you entered, and a style that matches the rest of the presentation)
13. Last slide must be a summary of the presentation, and cannot be just a repeat of the introduction slide.
14. First and Last name in the footer of every slide except the title slide.
