Basically read through the annual report for amazon and answer the questions that I assign. I will link the annual report that was assigned and also the questions/Full project instructions. Again you only have to do certain parts so refer to these questions and use the annual report to help answer the questions below;
Company financial statements and footnotes
a. Cash
i. Read the financial statement footnote in the annual report that
describes the company’s cash and cash equivalents. List those and
explain what they represent.
ii. Where does most of the company’s cash come from? Is this
evidence of a strong business? Why or why not?
iii. Is it good for the company to have a lot of cash on hand? Why or
why not?
f. Long-term liabilities
i. What accounts are included as long-term liabilities? Briefly explain
what each represents.
ii. If the company has issued bonds, what are their features? When
are they due? Were they issued at a premium, face or a discount?
How do you know? Why does this matter?
