For this assignment, you will begin researching a sub-topic of our research question, “What should be done to reduce lead contamination in Indiana children?” You must narrow your focus to “racial injustices with lead contamination”.
The purpose of the Annotated Bibliography is to summarize, evaluate and reflect on the quality and content of your research.
Guidelines Total of 3 sources
Your Annotated Bibliography must:
- Annotate three different sources.
- Must Include https://www.newamerica.org/indianapolis/blog/indianapolis-when-lead-and-racism-are-both-water/
- Include two other sources from the four found in the Ivy Tech library databases: “attached below”
- Each source should begin with an APA citation. Just like on a References page, sources should be alphabetized according to the author’s last name or the first word of the citation.
- At least three paragraphs of annotation should follow the citation. You must include one paragraph for each of the following:
- Source Summary (Identify the overall thesis and key points. What is this source saying? Does this source contain any special elements (images, graphs, etc.?) Make sure you name the author and title of the work in the first sentence of your summary.)
- Source Evaluation (Is this a credible source? Why or why not? How do you know?)
- Source Reflection (How does this source compare to your other sources? What questions does this source evoke? How might you use the source in your Argument Paper?)
- Each paragraph of annotation should include at least five full sentences of annotation.
- DO NOT Include an APA title page and header
- Be double-spaced, typed in Times New Roman 12 font and include a hanging indent for citations.
- Be saved as a Word document
