Research and present the findings of a program evaluation published in from a scholarly, peer reviewed journal. The content of this article must address empirical, quantitative research via a program/intervention evaluation.
Step 1: Using LSU libraries, students will research and select a program evaluation article located in a scholarlily, peer reviewed journal. *Recommended database: PsychINFO
Note: The article must be program evaluation. If the article used is not a program evaluation, the student will receive a 0 on the assignment.
Step 2: Using the article analysis template students will address the following:
• Title, authors, source
• Major purpose(s)
• Conceptualization of the primary IV (the program)
• Conceptualization of the primary outcome(s)
• Hypothesis or research question(s)
• Research design – category and specific design name
• The most prominent result or results from the study (i.e., was the program effective, and if so, how did the results show such?)
Step 3: Submit the following via Moodle:
• Article analysis template
• PDF of the research article
