I made mention of the fact that neighborhood-based social networks are actually stronger in lower-income neighborhoods than they are in higher-income neighborhoods. First of all, make sure you know what a social network is…go to your class PowerPoints (where it is discussed) and/or Google the term. Then, add your response to this straightforward question; why do you think that social networks are stronger in lower-income neighborhoods than they are in higher-income neighborhoods? Think this through critically and write a substantive response to this question. (Keep in mind that there are many kinds of social networks; friendship-based, career-based, etc. Here we are talking about neighborhood-based social networks.)
