First : Since there are studies on using CLT to teach grammar and teachers’ perceptions , the gap is weak. It should fill new topic not further studies.

Based on that in theoretical section you should write about CLT BACKGROUND ( How it emerged , why ? How it started and how it developed? Who developed it till nowadays)
Narrow down till reach the activity ( Role play)
Connect ideas well to create clear picture for the reader
Based on that , empirical section needs some modifications.
You should add subsection about effectiveness of role play in teaching EFL
The gap is ( exploring teachers’ perceptions of teaching EFL by using Role Play in grammar classrooms ) using a mixed method
