A: Write a State enacted bill & US enacted bill for each sector.
B: What is the purpose of the bill? Who is it helping/hindering? Is it excluding a group that should be included?
C: What private or public entity is responsible for implementing the legislation?
D: When is the implementation Date?
E: Who was the bill’s author(s)
F: Choose a sector you feel compassionate about. Write a formal letter to one of the authors for the law your researched. The letter must be in opposition or approval of the law now that it passed, and 3 reasons why.
Bonus: If you can find 3 laws enacted in the 2023 Texas Legislation that affect the Hispanic population.
Here are the four social welfare sectors:
