For this assignment, students will begin the process of creating their own hypothetical human service program. As you think about a program that you would want to develop, address the following questions: (Please Note: Each question should be at least 200-400 words. (Anything less will result in a zero for the assignment.) This assignment should be in a Microsoft Word Document, double-spaced. Develop well-organized paragraphs and complete sentences. Use Ch. 1 in your e-textbook and additional external resources to strengthen your human service program. Cite all sources and include a reference page. No Cover Page needed.

1) What kind of needs might your program address? 

2) Would you be focusing on a particular population or a particular issue or problem? Identify the population or issue you plan to address.

3) As you consider your program, think about what the central mission of this program would be. Write a very brief statement about this central mission.

4) Give your program a name.

Choose a program about which you feel a sense of passion. Remember, you will be revisiting your hypothetical program and completing assignments after each chapter, so that you can apply what you have learned.
