Instructions:
1. You are a graduate student enrolled in the MSW
writing seminar. (look up Widener University MSW policy if needed) Your literature review assignment is due in one week,
but you know that you will not be able to complete it by the deadline
because you have been sick. You know that your professor has a strict
policy that late work will not be accepted without penalty unless there
are extenuating circumstances. You also know that you are required to
email your professor before the due date if there is a chance your
assignment will be late. Compose an email your professor to explain the
situation and to ask for a one-week extension.

2. You are an intern at a local social services agency and as
part of your responsibilities you have been asked to assist with setting
up staff trainings. One of your tasks is to invite the executive
director of the local homeless shelter to train your agency’s staff on
local resources for the homeless population. The executive director is
named Casey Willis. The trainings are held every Tuesday from 12:00 pm
to 2:00 pm, lunch is provided, and the following dates are available in
2020: July 22, August 6, and August 20. Compose and email to Casey
Willis to see if you can set up a training time.
