In at least 250 words, respond to the following prompt: What do ancient creation stories and other myths suggest about ancient people’s relationships with animals? Are their similarities between the Indigenous American, Indian, and classical Roman myths? Any differences?
_____________
Use (and cite) specific examples from the readings in your response. These examples should be cited according to MLA 9 standards, including MLA-style in-text citations and works cited entries for each referenced reading at the end of the post. If you need a refresher on how to do this, please see Purdue’s MLA Handbook. You can also review MLA 9 citation tips here.
Your response should adhere to all standard rules of American English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
While you are free (and encouraged!) to consult class resources, like class Powerpoints and the weekly module overviews, while writing your response, you should not consult outside analyses of class readings found on the internet or elsewhere. I am very interested in seeing what you have to say about the literature.
