Pick a specific genre of music. Google the #1 song of all time in the genre and argue what cultural, political religious, racial, or socioeconomic perspective does that genre promote.
You will write a 6-7 page essay (remember, the Works Cited page does NOT count toward your page count). You will also need 3-4 scholarly sources to support your argument. The essay will need to be in MLA format (this means double spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt font, etc.)
