First of All, What Is “Weird News”?

“Weird News” is news that is unusual in detail or known to only a very small group of people.
You can choose “Weird Facts” if you’d rather — that is, it doesn’t need to be news.
However, it must be factually true and “provable” — that is, credible sources have reason to believe that it is true.
It is not a topic typically discussed.
- For example, “Social Media causes depression” or “People text and drive too much” are typical topics, not weird.
I suggest Googling “Weird News” and picking one that you find interesting.
This will comprise the subject of your presentation.
