Compare and contrast features of argument in the chosen texts to contend which of the two essays presents a fairer, more reasonable case.

A 1,500-word persuasive analysis comparing two essays from this section of the course (Shaw and Kincaid; McLeod et al. and

Ngata; Ghosh-Roy and Cadogan).
Essay topic:  Compare and contrast features of argument in the chosen texts to contend which of the two essays presents a fairer, more reasonable case.

In your essay you will need to include critical comparative discussion of the relative strengths and weaknesses of each

argument.  In your own persuasion, be guided in your analysis of argument described in the Hall article,

“Argument and Persuasion”, or Bedford Handbook. Using outside sources is not required,

but you may use one or two if you would like.
