A paper in which you explore a topic about one or more of the works covered in class “Reunion”, Oedipus the King, “The Tell-Tale Heart”, Hamlet, “Winter Dreams”
Five pages, plus a separate Works Cited page containing two (2) outside sources, plus the Works Cited information for the text(s).Clearly label the Works Cited page. Arrange “works cited” alphabetically by the author’s last name. If no author is listed, arrange by the first major word of the title. Double-space the works cited entries.Your Works Cited page must contain at least two outside (or secondary sources) that are articles written by someone who is commenting on the work (or works) you are writing about. In addition, you need a Works Cited entry for each of the primary texts you are writing about. You must cite both direct quotes and paraphrases throughout the main body of the paper. You should read through your paper and be able to put a checkmark next to each of the Works listed on your Works Cited page as your read the citations in your paper.
Use only reputable, academic sources, not Wikipedia or other encyclopedia-like sources, and definitely not any online commercial summary-type sources. Use JSTOR articles available through the library website.• Each direct quote should be part of a larger sentence of your own creation.
