Research Question: How do young adult users (aged 18 to 28) present on social media? The user’s perspective regarding self-representation and authenticity in social media.
Important: Original topics of research are encouraged. It is, however, crucial that the dissertation has a media-focus or, at least, that it has an evident linkage to a media phenomenon.
Includes an overview of the process of carrying out academic research and writing a dissertation, and involves the production of an 8,000-word dissertation on a topic of your choice in consultation. This dissertation is designed to assess your ability to be critical, and original and engage in a sustained piece of research.
