Remember, it is still important to acknowledge sources used in your presentation. You do not need to give full citations, but you should give full and proper credit to the necessary authors when introducing particular ideas. For instance, ‘As David Cowan says …’, ‘Davina Cooper points out that …’, or ‘… as mentioned by Kevin Gray and Susan Gray’.
imagine you are presenting to an academic audience, represented by your tutor. This means you will need to ensure that your style of presentation is appropriate for the audience
Consider the following when planning your presentation:
Do you agree or disagree with the given statement? How might this change your approach?
Have you identified appropriate examples (i.e. in terms of detail, number and coherence)? Is it a subject area, a case, or a series of cases?
What further research might you want/need to do to explore this idea?
What points are you seeking to convey? What are your arguments in relation to the given statement?
Have you included credit for the sources you are using?
