You have been given a piece of orchestral music, and you come up with a narrative scene that accurately embodies the music. It can be a full story, or it can be a simple scenic view with little things happening here and there, reflected in the music

You will listen to a piece of music (7.5 miunutes) through the YouTube link which I attached below and write essay by following the instruction below:

Try to notice when specific instruments enter and leave. Take notice when the music shifts from one mood to another, and identify what is causing that effect: a tempo change? A change of timbres, instruments, or pitch ranges? A move from dissonance/tension to consonance/release? A lyrical passage giving way to a rhythmic passage with no real melody? Use all of your critical listening skills to take note of specific details.
You must find at least one instrument that has more than one prominent passage in the piece (e.g., it has a solo, or it carries the main melody, or it plays a strong countermelody against the rest of the group). You must tie this instrument to a key part of your program (a character, object, event, emotion, anything really) and demonstrate how the instrument’s presence in the music mirrors what happens in your scene. For example, a piece might frequently feature a low bassoon solo, and you could tie this to a frumpy old farmer, describing how he always shows up to argue whenever it plays. In the case of Vivaldi’s violin concerto Spring, the solo violin often plays short little passages meant to represent birds coming out to sing.
Whenever you talk about a passage in the music, you must identify it by giving a timestamp (e.g., “at 3’42” ”). You must give details about the music: if you mention a melody or a timbre, include which instrument(s) are playing the melody or creating that timbre; if you mention a tempo or mood change, say what it changes from and what it changes to; and so on. When in doubt, mention which instruments are playing and one other bit of information (e.g., “flutes playing a slow, airy melody,” “the clarinet plays an agitated solo high up in its range,” “the brass section overpowers with relentless dissonant chords”).
These need to be strong, prominent moments in the music, and your program always needs to be relevant (e.g., if the music turns lighthearted, do not describe a scene where the hero suddenly dies and everyone weeps).
Note: I will attach the detailed instruction on Word Docs below and a YouTube link of music.
