After the major wars of the first half of the 20th century, and the possible nuclear
crises of the cold war, perhaps the greatest existential crisis of our time is that
of climate change.
What are some of the different theoretical perspectives that can be used to analyze
and, importantly, address the issue of climate change? Discuss the strengths and
weaknesses of different theoretical approaches with a specific focus on those
theories we discussed in the second half of the course (after the mid-term quiz). In
other words, what are some of the factors states have to consider before we can
have a truly equitable solution to climate change? Be sure to provide examples to
support your arguments.
Please answer in 4-5 pages (approximately 1000-1500 words) double-spaced
with 1-inch (or equivalent) margins and 12-point font. Calibri is a nice font, but
others about that size would do just as well.
