This assignment is Part One of a three-page Marketing Plan Outline ending in Unit 4. Each week you will complete one-page section of the marketing outline using the template provided. Please note that this is an outline with summary sections and not a paper.<\/p>\n<p>In Unit 4, you will combine your work from Unit 2 and 3 with Unit 4, your Marketing Plan Outline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assignment Detail Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You work in the marketing department of a company of your choice (please choose from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnb.com\/business-directory.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dun &amp; Bradstreet Business Directory<\/a>). Please note that fictional companies may not be used. The company must be selected from the Dun &amp; Bradstreet Directory.<\/p>\n<p>The business has been down, and your boss has asked you to complete a Company Overview of your chosen company to present in the following marketing meeting.<\/p>\n<p>For the Company Overview, you will need to cover the key issues below;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Briefly introduce the company and describe the main line of business of the company.<\/li>\n<li>List one sentence on how finance, accounting, economics, and management impact the marketing plan outline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environmental Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide a paragraph on this company&#8217;s global environment, including the legal and ethical political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological environments from the information found in the Dun &amp; Bradstreet information and company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please use the <a href=\"https:\/\/resources.careered.com\/LCMSFileSharePreview\/Resources\/MSWordDocument\/MKTG205_U2_3_4_IP_Template.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marketing Plan Outline<\/a> to complete all three parts of the course assignment. You will use the first page of the template to complete the assignment for this unit.<\/p>\n<p>Submitting your assignment means, at a minimum, you will need the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Title page<\/strong>: The title should be in all capitals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Length<\/strong>: 1 page minimum<\/li>\n<li><strong>Body:<\/strong> This begins on the page following the title page and must be double-spaced (be careful not to triple- or quadruple-space between paragraphs). The typeface should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics, except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 3 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reference page<\/strong>: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. Remember, the Reference page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper.
