The scenario is that your supervisor has <br \/>\nassigned you the task of presenting a 30-minute training session on this topic. You need to <br \/>\nresearch your topic and prepare an engaging PowerPoint that would be used as a visual aid for <br \/>\nyour presentation. <br \/>\nTopic Ideas<br \/>\nThe course textbook will be a great resource when looking for a topic that relates to some aspect <br \/>\nof operations management. Some examples of topics include (but are not limited to): <br \/>\n\uf0b7 How to deploy a successful quality improvement program<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Tips to effective demand forecasting <br \/>\n\uf0b7 How to create a meaningful and impactful mission statement<br \/>\n\uf0b7 What the keys to successful project management are<br \/>\nIt is recommended that you pick a topic of interest and then do some research to make sure you <br \/>\ncan find five credible sources \u2013 more about credible sources below. Once you are certain you can <br \/>\nlocate five credible sources, begin creating your PowerPoint presentation.<br \/>\nINSTRUCTIONS<br \/>\nPowerPoint Requirements: <br \/>\nI. Title Slide<br \/>\n\uf0b7 This will be the first slide of your PowerPoint (and is NOT considered a content slide).<br \/>\n\uf0b7 This slide will include the following: title of your presentation, your full name, class <br \/>\nname &amp; section number, and your institution (Liberty University).<br \/>\nII. Content Slides<br \/>\n\uf0b7 A minimum of 10 content slides must be included.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 All content slides must contain speaker notes. <br \/>\n\uf0b7 Speaker notes are a presenter\u2019s \u201ccheat sheet\u201d if you will. In other words, speaker notes <br \/>\nare hidden from your audience, but you are able to view them while presenting.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Speaker notes are NOT a copy of the information on your slide. Instead, speaker notes <br \/>\nexpand upon and\/or offer further clarification regarding points on each slide. <br \/>\no To add speaker notes, go to the Notes pane under the slide where you will see <br \/>\n\u201cClick to add notes\u201d. &nbsp;<br \/>\nIII. Reference Slide<br \/>\n\uf0b7 This slide will be the last slide(s) of your PowerPoint (and is NOT considered a content <br \/>\nslide).<br \/>\n\uf0b7 This slide (or slides) will contain all sources used in your PowerPoint presentation.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Sources must be formatted according to current APA formatting guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>BUSI 411<br \/>\nPage 2 of 3<br \/>\n\uf0b7 In addition to current APA formatting guidelines, the inclusion of the complete URL <br \/>\n(sometimes called a permalink) is required for all full-text, peer-reviewed\/scholarly <br \/>\narticles retrieved from Liberty\u2019s online library journal database. Note that this is not the <br \/>\nsame as the doi #. The URL must take your reader directly to the full text article within <br \/>\nLiberty\u2019s online library journal database. If you&#8217;re unsure about the specific URL\/link, <br \/>\nyou can copy the entire web address from the top of the browser&#8217;s address bar once you <br \/>\nare viewing the full text article within Liberty\u2019s online library journal database.<br \/>\nIV. Sources<br \/>\n\uf0b7 A minimum of four credible sources must be used within your presentation. <br \/>\nRequired, credible sources include:<br \/>\no Four full-text, peer-reviewed\/scholarly articles retrieved from Liberty\u2019s online <br \/>\nlibrary journal database.<br \/>\no Two of the above four full-text, peer-reviewed\/scholarly articles must be <br \/>\nwithin the last 7 years.<br \/>\no The course textbook (as listed on the course syllabus).<br \/>\no You are able to include additional sources, other than the four credible sources <br \/>\nlisted above; however, they must be full-text articles retrieved from Liberty\u2019s <br \/>\nonline library journal database. <br \/>\n\uf0b7 Sources NOT acceptable for this assignment: <br \/>\no No textbooks (including e-books), other than the course textbook\/ebook (as <br \/>\nlisted on the course syllabus)<br \/>\no No general Internet searching is acceptable. &nbsp;Therefore, no blogs, education <br \/>\nsites, commercial sites, Wikipedia, About.com, editorials, abstracts, online <br \/>\nbooks, book reviews, etc. <br \/>\nV. Avoiding Plagiarism <br \/>\n\uf0b7 Create an original PowerPoint presentation; previously submitted work from this or <br \/>\nanother course is considered self-plagiarism and is prohibited. <br \/>\n\uf0b7 Provide citations for the following:<br \/>\no All statements, ideas, &amp; thoughts (whether paraphrased or directly quoted) used <br \/>\nfrom an outside source.<br \/>\no Tables, data, images, etc. used from an outside source. <br \/>\no All citations should be formatted according to the most current APA formatting <br \/>\nguidelines and should directly follow the information used from an outside <br \/>\nsource. <br \/>\no All sources used must be formatted on your reference slide(s), according to <br \/>\ncurrent APA formatting guidelines.<br \/>\nVI.
