Scenario:
You have been given the task of designing an experiment to study the effects of testing frequency in seventh-grade classrooms on academic performance. You will need to start by selecting a general experimental design that is well-suited to the topic of study and that will give defensible results in terms of both internal and external validity. You sit down to write your experimental design proposal.<\/p>\n

Task#1. Focus Assignment:<\/p>\n

1. Create a proposal for an experimental design for the study. Your proposal should include a justification of why your selected design is most appropriate for the study. Your proposal should also specifically address at least three possible threats to validity. For each possible threat, explain how your choice of experimental design would be expected to address the given threat.<\/p>\n

2. Be sure to read the REFLECTION section below to guide your thinking. Write your reflection after you have completed your proposal.<\/p>\n
