Use the vocabulary and be specific!<\/li>\n<li>What was happening in society when this painting was made?<\/li>\n<li>What is the message of this painting?\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>To find the message of a work of art, you need to analyze the information gathered for the first two questions. Think about the lectures and videos in this module, and think about these questions: How does Rothko&#8217;s work fit in to the overall tone of this period? What does he want the viewer to experience when looking at his work?
