Vapor Pressure (VP) vs mol fraction water<\/p>\n<p>2. VP vs mol fraction solute (label correctly with identity of your solute)<\/p>\n<p>3. VP vs moles solute<\/p>\n<p>4. VP vs molality solute<\/p>\n<p>For Henry&#8217;s law:<\/p>\n<p>Graph the vapor pressure vs. molality of your unknown gas.<\/p>\n<p>Use the slope to compare to values of Henry&#8217;s constants for the possible unknown options to determine your unknown gas. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Colligative Properties Data Analysis<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Answer the following questions with respect to your completed excel data from this week. Answer to the <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">best of your ability, sometimes you are being asked what you <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">think<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">. Cite any resources that you use. <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">1.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">What were your unknowns for Raoult\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Law this week?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">2.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">What does Raoult\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s law predict, as much in your own words\/understanding as possible?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">3.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">A student creates a solution of potassium sulfide, K<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">2<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">S. The student calculates the moles of K<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">2<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">S <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">added from the mass of solute then continues to determine the mole fractions of both solvent and <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">solute. At least, the student calculates the expected vapor pressure based on the mole fraction of <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">solvent. Will the actual vapor pressure be higher or lower than what the student calculates?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">4.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Would it be possible for a solution of water with sucrose to have a vapor pressure of 0.04005 atm <br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">at room temperature?
