You will be assigned a total of four projects<br \/>and you should proceed as follows:<br \/>1. Write your name and student #<br \/>2. Course Number<br \/>3 The Wall Street Journal Weekly<\/p>\n<p>THE WSJ PROJECT HAVE 3 PARTS TO EACH PROJECT; EACH OF THE THREE PARTS<br \/>OF A SINGLE PROJECT WILL REQUIRE APPROXIMATELY \u00c2\u00bd PAGE EACH. 2. One paragraph<br \/>summary for each of the 3 parts within the project; number each article type.<br \/>I. Regular Article: (News article) \u00c2\u00bd page<br \/>1. State the news article that you choose and cite as follows:<br \/>Author, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Title of Article,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd Wall Street Journal, date and page(s) or online citation.<br \/>3. List bullet points of marketing issues you have studied in your marketing classes, such as target<br \/>market, reengineering, competition, internal strengths, external issues (political\/ legal, social,<br \/>economic, cultural, media concerns)<br \/>II. Book Review: (1\/2 page)<br \/>Choose one book review for each or the 4 projects. A book review should not exceed a \u00c2\u00bd page.<br \/>1. State the reviewer and the title of the review article.<br \/>2. Then state the name of the book, the author, the publisher, number of pages and the cost<br \/>of the book. (Look for Bookshelf Section on Opinion page: It is usually near the end of<br \/>Section A.) The weekend edition of The Wall Street Journal has many book reviews.<br \/>3. Give a brief description of the book.<br \/>4. Is the review favorable, unfavorable, or mixed? Explain.<br \/>5. Would you like to read this book if time allowed? Why or why not.<br \/>III. Opinion\/ Editorial (op\/ed): (1\/2 page)<br \/>Choose an op\/ed article and summarize. (The last pages of Section A usually has<br \/>opinion\/editorial articles.)
