You are required to articulate your post-graduation strategy
\nwithin the overall strategic management process. This includes internal
\nanalysis of your mission, vision, and objectives, analysis of your own
\nstrengths and weaknesses, understanding of your resources and capabilities as
\nwell as an external analysis investigating opportunities and threats. Once the
\nbackground summary is developed, formulation of your own personal strategy
\nbegins with an assessment of your unique values, risk tolerance levels,
\nalliances, strategic vehicles, network availability, preferred industries, and
\navailable corporate business models. The implementation will be in the
\nstrategic actions that you will put into effect prior to graduation.<\/p>\n

  1. Vision statement, mission statement, objectives,
    \n goals<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. SWOT analysis, internal vs
    \n external (bring up resume here) – this should be a SWOT analysis of the industry and myself. <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Deliberate and emergent
    \n strategies<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Differentiation and cost
    \n advantage (resume)<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Porter’s 5 forces, VRIO mode<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Pest analysis (step analysis)
    Political direction
    Economics
    Social trends
    Technological changes <\/li>\n
  7. Value chain of activities,
    \n industry landscape<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • VRIO must need to be visual
      \n – include competitive outcomes such as (sustainable competitive advantage,
      \n potential advantage, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n

      • The competitive advantage period
        \n is your values<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      • Add resume on the bottom, and
        \n relate resume to SWOT Analysis (internal & external)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
