You can pick any topic that is related to what we discuss in this<\/span><br style=\"font-size: 13px; cursor: auto;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">class, and you can present it in any format.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; background-color: var(--color-6); color: var(--color-1); font-variant-caps: inherit;\">Here\u2019s how to do it: I\u2019d like you to find information from three secondary sources (such as a website, journal article,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; background-color: var(--color-6); color: var(--color-1); font-variant-caps: inherit;\">e-book, book, or YouTube video) and find one primary source on your own (and not from the power points).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; background-color: var(--color-6); color: var(--color-1); font-variant-caps: inherit;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; background-color: var(--color-6); color: var(--color-1); font-variant-caps: inherit;\">The first&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">part that you will be turning in is an annotated bibliography of your secondary sources, along with your primary<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">source. An annotated bibliography is a list of your sources cited with a short description of what you learned about your topic from it.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">Instead of citing your primary source (that\u2019s too hard in most cases), simply copy and paste it underneath your<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">secondary sources with a small description about it. Your primary source can either be a picture from the internet or a&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">written source, such as an excerpt from a document or a recipe.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><font size=\"4\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font size=\"4\">The annotated bibliography is due September 26th, but the rest of the assignment is due by October 3rd.<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font size=\"4\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font size=\"4\"><br style=\"cursor: auto;\"><\/font><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">&nbsp;There is a sample annotated bibliography below for you to follow as a<\/span><br style=\"font-size: 13px; cursor: auto;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">guide. I\u2019m not grading your annotated bibliography based on the accuracy of your citations; instead, you will receive<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp;c<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">ompletion points for each annotated secondary source and for your primary source with a description.<\/span><br style=\"font-size: 13px; cursor: auto;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">The second part that you\u2019ll be turning in is a video of you presenting your project and showing me what you learned,<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">such as a YouTube or TikTok video or a Zoom recording. It\u2019s up to you how you present your project. Examples of<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">past project presentations include a cooking demonstration while talking about the dish, describing a replica\/model, powerpoint, etc.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">The presentation portion of your project shows me what you learned from your research and will be graded based on<\/span><br style=\"font-size: 13px; cursor: auto;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.23529411764706px; cursor: auto;\">the amount of detail that you include.
