After completing Palmer’s book, <\/span><\/span>To Know As We Are Known<\/em>, you should aim to address the concepts below in a 4-5 page paper, reporting on Palmer’s views while also incorporating your own thoughts. Following APA formatting is mandatory. Students who do not do so will lose significant points as a result. Make note that your cover page and References do NOT count toward the page total. You do NOT need to provide an abstract. You are required to cite a minimum of two (3) additional academic, scholarly sources, other than the Palmer book itself (which should also be on your References page), to accompany and\/or back up your ideas and responses. You are encouraged to be creative in doing research. References are expected to be accurately and fully cited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paper Criteria<\/span>:<\/p>\n

  1. Identify and explain one key element of <\/span>INTRA<\/em>personal communication.<\/li>\n
  2. Report on Palmer\u2019s view in your own words (i.e. not just repeating\/retyping what he states).<\/li>\n
  3. Answer the question, what does it mean to “know thyself”?<\/li>\n
  4. Discuss your point of view and anything else you deem relevant.<\/li>\n
  5. Include implications and challenges of this important endeavor for people in the 21st<\/sup> <\/span>century.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
