\nOverview: <\/span><\/b>in this assignment, you will explore a topic related to Public
\nHealth and your career(my career is Emergency management) in the year
\n2050.  <\/span>You will create a visual
\npresentation (PowerPoint or other platform) giving an overview of the topic,
\nhow it will impact you in the future, and how your professional career(emergency
\nmanagement) may address the topic. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE SOUND to your
\npresentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step
\n1: <\/span><\/b>Begin
\nby defining a topic that will impact Public Health and your career(emergency
\nmanagement) in the year 2050.  <\/span>Think
\nabout major changes that may affect health in the future, such as climate
\nchange, changes in the way we finance health insurance, aging populations,
\ntechnological advancements, political conflicts, access to clean water, antibiotic
\nresistance, future pandemics, etc. A narrow, focused topic is much better than
\na very broad topic (ex: instead of \u201cclimate change\u201d you may explore the impacts
\nof climate change on mosquito-borne diseases). 
\n<\/span>Do some background research to make sure you think you\u2019ll be able to
\nlocate adequate information on your topic. 
\n<\/span>Whatever your topic is, it should either have a potential impact on your
\ncareer plans, or your career should impact\/address the topic in some way. Be
\ncreative!<\/span><\/p>\n

\na brief description of your topic to the Topic Approval Discussion Board
\n(Course Content > Module 4 > Public Health 2050 Project).  <\/span>The \u201csubject\u201d of your post should list your

\nyour ideas and approve, reject, or ask you to modify\/explain your topic
\nidea.  <\/span>Only 1 specific topic can be covered by each student<\/b>, so review

\npresentation will depend on your topic, but may include items such as the

\nspecifics about how the topic relates to your future career (Will it change how
\nyour career is practiced?  <\/span>What types of
\neducation\/training\/experience will you need to address the topic?  <\/span>Etc.).
