While you might inform or make value judgments to address issues of urgency and necessity, this should be only a small component of your essay. You should spend the bulk of your energy asserting and defending your ideas for change. You must present your <\/span>own<\/i> <\/span>argument, supported by research. This is not the same as simply citing and following the logic of another persuasive argument. Your essay should support an original thesis that is specific, arguable, and tenable.<\/p>\n
