<\/span>-Written Paper  \u2013 A concise paper defining the issue, describing the issue, and discussing the issue to give a clear <\/span><\/span><\/span>understanding of the issue. Discussion of the key factors that have and are currently contributing to this issue. You will need to identify <\/span><\/span><\/span>at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals that is associated with your issue. <\/span><\/span>Provide at least 1 graph or chart to assist in <\/span><\/span><\/span>your discussion of the topic<\/span>. This 1<\/span><\/span><\/span>st <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>paper must include at least 3 references<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-The text for these technical papers should be clear, concise, focused, and well-organized. The text should be objective and not subjective. Avoid<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>using a \u201cconversational\u201d style of writing.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Each one of the three papers is to include a single properly formatted COVER page, the specified number of pages of text (@325 words per page), a<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>single properly formatted REFERENCES section, and a properly formatted APPENDIX section<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specific Written Requirements:<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/span>
<\/span>\u00b7<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>To aid in organizing the text, headings (Issue Overview, Current Solutions, Preferred Solution) should be used as appropriate.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span>\u00b7<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Format<\/u><\/b>: typed, in 12-point Times New Roman font, 2.0 line spaced, and grammatically correct. All margins should be set to 1 inch. All pages should<\/span><\/span><\/span> be numbered center-bottom. The report should have a cover sheet (not included in the page total) with the title of the report and the names<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>of all group members who contributed to the paper.<\/span><\/span>

Graphs and charts are NOT to<\/span> be listed within the text. All graphs and charts are to be listed in an APPENDIX<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>section. <\/span>Complete reference information (including a URL if appropriate) is to be listed immediately below each graph and chart. Each graph and chart<\/span><\/span><\/span> should be labeled Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3 as appropriate.
