It MUST have a point of view and be arguable (that is, someone else could argue it&#8217;s not true). &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>An interpretive thesis takes a stand, and uses primary sources as evidence to prove it.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>So far, we have already covered <u>Pre-Columbian America, Colonzing Europe<\/u>, and currently on<\/div>\n<div><u>New Spain &amp; New France&nbsp;<\/u><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This thesis must contain a few short paragraphs that include :&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8211; An interpretive thesis about one or more of the eras we&#8217;ve studied so far <b>in bold text<\/b><\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 2 primary sources from the first primary source board in chronological order, with each source&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>related to the thesis thorugh your own explanation&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; each source named and fully cited (author\/artist, title, date, live link to a page where it is&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>featured)<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; a one-sentence conclusion<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Make the thesis interpretive and arguable&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Avoid troublesome sources (if the citation information isn&#8217;t complete, don&#8217;t use it)<\/div>\n<div>-Discuss each source so it proves the thesis instead of illustrating it&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>attached files include a pdf file of the textbook, a powerpoint interpretive thesis on what is to beexpected, a sample of A\/A+ work of a former student of what he&#8217;s expecting, and screenshots of further instructions&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Assignment requires an interpretive thesis supported by two primary sources, should talk&nbsp; about why and how an event or trend occured in U.S. History, within in era we&#8217;ve been studying.
