\ndefend the claims you present. It can\u2019t consist in the mere report of your opinion, nor in
\nthe mere report of the opinions of others (even if these
\nothers can be considered authorities).<\/span><\/div>\n
– Use Google Scholar, plato.stanford.edu, philpapers.org to consult the state of the art on the subject and use it in the paper to defend or discuss the thesis.  It is very important that you start you paper from what has
\nbeen already published on the same or similar topic. You don\u2019t have to cover the whole state of the art, but show
\nyou\u2019re aware that other material (usually a lot) has been already
\npublished on it<\/b>.<\/div>\n

Define technical or ambiguous terms used in your
\nthesis or argument.<\/p><\/div>\n

–  Don\u2019t write using prose you wouldn’t use in conversation.<\/div>\n

STRUCTURE OF THE PAPER<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
\n

1) ABSTRACT: <\/span>What
\nyou did in a nutshell (200-300 words in a single paragraph), no lengthy
\nbackground information, no reference to other literature.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

2) INTRODUCTION: <\/span><\/font>What your thesis is and why you are discussing it,
\nprovide blueprint of paper: p<\/span>resentation of the problem or
\nresearch inquiry; p<\/span>urpose and focus of current paper; s<\/span>ummary of writer\u2019s position or
\narguments. <\/span>Indicate how you will proceed in
\nclaiming for your argument.<\/span><\/p>\n

3) SECTIONS 2-n: <\/span>All the necessary steps to support your thesis (arguments
\nand counterarguments).<\/span><\/p>\n

4) CONCLUSIONS: <\/span>Summary and discussion of your results, possible
\nfuture directions<\/span><\/p>\n
