Developing strategy begins with thinking strategically and knowing what the key decisions
\nare. The decision models that you employ will directly impact the quality of the decisions
\nyou make so understanding them is critical. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
For your main thread, perform the following: <\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  • Discuss the process of developing business strategy. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Discuss the key decisions necessary for making strategy choices.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Discuss your current decision model(s) and how they impact your decision process. <\/span><\/li>\n
  •  Develop an Annotated Bibliography for the references used in your discussion. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support all of your factual assertions with citations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
    This week’s reading material:<\/p>\n

    • Gamble, Peteraf, & Thompson: Essentials of Strategic Management (Chap. 1)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Rumelt: Good Strategy\/Bad Strategy: The Difference and Why It Matters (Chap. 16-17)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Krogerus & Tsch\u00e4ppeler: The Decision Book: 50 Models for Strategic Thinking (pp. 5-174)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Keller: Every Good Endeavor: Connecting Your Work to God’s Work (Chap. 1-3)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
