    • In the SWOT matrix tool,<\/li>\n

      • Strengths and weaknesses are <\/span>internal<\/strong> <\/span>to the field of OD (and students usually have an easy time using the textbooks to identify).<\/li>\n
      • Opportunities and threats are <\/span>external<\/strong> <\/span>to the field of OD (but students frequently continue to identify internal strengths and weaknesses<\/span>).  Examples of external opportunities and threats include how the economy, politics, societal norms, legislation\/laws\/regulations, pandemics, etc. might create or present opportunities or threats for the field of OD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n
